As a leading international provider of diversified products, services and solutions in the marine and offshore sectors, AMOS Group must respond to customer demands at pace.Spearheaded by Vice President of Group IT Quinny Lei, the Singapore-based business is optimising integration with e-procurement platform ShipServ to increase efficiencies and speed of transactions when responding to user requests. The innovation project will possess a direct integration link between the marketplace portal and internal ERP systems to streamline processing times and support business growth.Incorporating machine learning elements, the project also leveraged hybrid cloud technologies to support package flows while achieving higher conversion rates. With IT also facilitating greater collaboration between sales and procurement, users were allowed the opportunity to better serve customers in more profitable areas of the business, rather than focusing on line quotations.Central to this was Lei sharing the IT roadmap and pipeline internally to ensure buy-in and realise innovation at a company-wide level.
